Jeffery D. Dayon

Jeffery Dayon has more than 30 years of experience and focuses his practice on complex real estate transactions.

Jeffery advises private lenders, small and large privately held real estate operating companies, investors and high wealth individuals. His experience includes planning, structuring and executing complex real estate and corporate transactions, commercial leasing and sophisticated financing transactions, including securitized mortgages, multi­tranche mezzanine loans and preferred equity transactions. He is also active in development transactions, including those involving hotels, and has extensive experience in negotiating both hotel management and franchise agreements with major hotel brands.

Jeffery also counsels his clients on investments in real property and advises on issues related to appropriate form of organization, business plans, stockholders, partnership and operating agreements, commercial transactions, joint venture agreements, tenancies in common and other strategic partnerships, restructurings, workouts and dispute resolution.

BACKGROUND

Prior to joining the firm, Jeffery was a partner at a nation wide AM Top 200 law firm, where he was co-chair of the Real Estate practice group.
